Robert Sharp & Associates would like to introduce our new employees…
Welcome to Tracey Sheich and Amanda Linn, two achievement driven ladies new to our team this quarter.
Tracey has been with us for several months as an intern, then part time employee, and now as our full time Public Relations Assistant. She assists in writing press releases for the SEO department, proposals, and other various research projects as well. She is a 2005 graduate from the University of Delaware and holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts. Applying her perceptive research and writing abilities within the web development department, she deftly works to maximize the impact of clients’ websites. Tracey is adamant about the quality of her efforts, and relentlessly strives to provide clients with high visibility in a competitive market.
Amanda came aboard as a Graphic Designer to fill a vacancy in the Print Department. She is full of experience, creativity and new ideas. Amanda brings a love for print design and a passion for distinction to our team. As a graphic design and advertising graduate from the University of South Dakota, she has over 8 years of experience in the industry and has spent that time gaining valuable insight by working on a variety of national projects. Her ability to take a client's vision and transform it to reality makes her a valuable member of our creative team.
Robert traveled to the beautiful Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, CO, November 1-3 to attend the Alliance of Marketing Agencies conference. Robert, along with agency owners from New York, Milwaukee, Akron, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Maine, Carmel, CA; Taos, NM; and Chagrin Falls, OH meet every six months to discuss strategies, trends, and business operations. It’s a wonderful opportunity to have a network of agencies to share ideas with. Along with day-to-day business operations, topics of discussions centered on co-branding to stretch advertising budgets, new forms of media, and of course, internet strategies. Robert came back with some new and innovative ideas for print advertising, and shared with the group what is working for our clients in South Dakota. It’s nice to see that we are on the top of our game here… and can easily play with the “big boys” from New York and California.
November 26-30 Robert and Stacey were in Las Vegas to attend the annual IAFE (International Association of Fairs and Expos) Convention. Any time you put 6,000 fair and carnival entertainers in one hotel…it’s bound to be a good time! Stacey attended numerous seminars on marketing, event planning, off season events and (of course) new ways to use the internet. In addition, the trade show is full of useful information, everything from novelty suppliers to grandstand entertainment agents. If you’re in the need for a life size sand sculpture, interactive arcade games or personalized wristbands…chances are we have a contact for you! The IAFE also hosts a media room where fairs from around the world submit their campaigns for judging. RS&A brought home second place honors for print advertising done for the Wyoming State Fair. It’s also interesting to view the other campaigns and take home ideas for next year. We now handle the Wyoming State Fair, South Dakota State Fair, the Central States Fair and Black Hills Stock Show. It would be “fair” to say, we’re quickly becoming the authority.
Cheryl traveled to Colorado and Washington, DC this quarter and gained RSA some exciting new, national clients and to service RSA’s national and regional needs! See her excerpt under the Kudos in this newsletter.
